Role

  • Provide an information technology development, advice and support service within Organisational and Staff Development Services and the Centre for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning, including ongoing design, maintenance and refinement of World Wide Web pages and other IT-based staff development initiatives

  • Establish, promote and administer a process for staff participation in online courses for standard software packages supported by the University.

  • Provide troubleshooting and training clinics for standard software packages supported by the University to address the IT training needs of staff, departments and faculties.

  • Contribute to a teaching and learning newsletter for dissemination of higher education teaching and learning development material.

  • Recommend, obtain and install approved hardware, software and resource materials for OSDS

  • Provide workshops for University staff in a range of areas involving technology and learning.

  • Provide briefings to University staff on OSDS resources and how to use effectively.
