Professional Development Review (PDR) Workshops for Supervisors of Academic Staff

Intended Audience:

With the introduction of the new Professional Development Review (PDR) Supervisors of Academic Staff are required to attend training in order to familiarise themselves with the process and documentation.

Workshop Description:

This workshop explains the objectives of the PDR, the process, and the roles and responsibilities of Reviewers and Reviewees.

Intended Outcomes:

At the workshop you will learn the answers to the questions:

• What is the PDR and why do we have to have it?
• How does it differ from the Performance Management Review?
• How do I prepare for PDR meetings with my staff?

3 hours

• Workshop 1: Monday 17 March 2008, 1:00pm - 4:00pm
• Workshop 2: Tuesday 19 August 2008, 1:00pm - 4:00pm

Cost:

UWA staff members will receive priority in gaining access to this workshop. We welcome enrolment by non-UWA participants, subject to availability. The commercial fee for non-UWA attendees is calculated at $50 per hour of attendance. Participant enrolment in this workshop will be confirmed following the closing date for applications. Please note a cancellation fee may apply for non-attendees.
