Professional Development Review (PDR) Workshops for Academic Staff

Intended Audience:

All members of UWA Academic Staff (other than reviewers) who want to learn more about the new Professional Development Review (PDR) process.

Workshop Description:

This 3 hour workshop explains the objectives of the PDR, the process, and the roles and responsibilities of Reviewers and Reviewees. Please bring your academic portfolio and last review report to the workshop if available.

Intended Outcomes:

At the workshop you will learn the answers to the questions:

What is the PDR and why do we have to have it?

What do I have to do to prepare for my PDR meeting?

What can I expect at my PDR meeting?

• Workshop 2: Tuesday 19 August 2008, 9:00am - 12:00pm

Cost:

UWA staff members will receive priority in gaining access to this workshop. We welcome enrolment by non-UWA participants, subject to availability. The commercial fee for non-UWA attendees is calculated at $50 per hour of attendance. Participant enrolment in this workshop will be confirmed following the closing date for applications. Please note a cancellation fee may apply for non-attendees.
