Andrew Taylor

Andrew Taylor is Professor Emeritus at Edith Cowan University, having taught English, American and Australian literature at universities in Melbourne, Adelaide, Tübingen and Shanghai. Throughout all that time he has been writing and publishing poetry, and his Collected Poems came out with Salt Publishing, UK, in 2004  (http://www.saltpublishing.com/). (Copies are available at the UWA bookshop.)

He has also written short stories, libretti for two operas, translations of poetry from German and Italian, numerous critical articles, and a book on Australian poetry. He was born in country coastal Victoria and has lived in the UK, Germany, Italy, the USA and China, some of which comes through in his poetry. He moved to Western Australia in 1992 and loves it here.
