Agenda Preparation and Meeting ProcedureRelatedSee Minutes Writing Intended Audience:Staff members who are responsible for agenda preparation and providing executive and/or administrative support to committees.Workshop Description:Clear, succinct and informative agenda preparation and writing are key contributing factors to successful meetings and can be a rewarding experience for you. A well-considered and carefully constructed agenda assists the chair to conduct the meeting towards achieving its purpose and goals and helps the committee to make effective decisions and form appropriate resolutions. This workshop will provide an opportunity to review and develop your skills in agenda preparation and writing and will offer guidance on the development of an effective agenda item. The workshop will be illustrated with examples of agenda items. Participants will have an opportunity to complete some exercises to practice what they are taught in the workshop as well as to share ideas on what has worked well for them. Intended Outcomes:

We also welcome enrolment by non-UWA participants, subject to availability. The commercial fee for non-UWA attendees is calculated at $100 per hour of attendance.
