This workshop is highly relevant to staff with purchasing and payables responsibilities

Workshop Description:

How to better manage my purchasing and payables processes? is designed to provide participants an understanding of the University’s Purchasing and Procurement policies and how to better manage the Purchasing & Payable workflow in the business unit.

Intended Outcomes:

After completing this workshop, participants should be able to:
  • Understand the University’s Purchasing and Procurement Policies
  • Review current practise against the recommended best practise
  • Better manage the Puchasing process in the business unit

Key Activities:

Hands-on activities on PeopleSoft with real-scenario examples.

Cost:

UWA staff members and UWA affiliates will receive priority in gaining access to this session. Participant enrolment in this workshop will be confirmed following the closing date for applications. Please note a cancellation fee may apply for non-attendees. We also welcome enrolment by non-UWA participants, subject to availability. The commercial fee for non-UWA attendees is calculated at $100 per hour of attendance. Staff working in other universities will receive a 20% discount on the commercial fee.
