The Right Side of the Law: Records Legislative Requirements

Intended Audience:

Executives, Managers and Supervisors

Workshop Description:

The session is aimed at those in charge of academic or administrative units and broadly covers legislative requirements relating to record keeping, the University’s Record Keeping Plan and the business benefits achieved by managing business information effectively.

Intended Outcomes:

Attendees will gain an understanding of their legal responsibilities in relation to record keeping and will be able to use this knowledge to effectively develop and implement strategies that will ensure compliance with the University’s Record Keeping Plan.

Cost:

UWA staff members and UWA affiliates will receive priority in gaining access to this session. Participant enrolment in this workshop will be confirmed following the closing date for applications. Please note a cancellation fee may apply for non-attendees. We also welcome enrolment by non-UWA participants, subject to availability. The commercial fee for non-UWA attendees is calculated at $100 per hour of attendance. Staff working in other universities will receive a 20% discount on the commercial fee.
