Keeping Your Records Straight: Tips for New Staff
Intended Audience:All new staff Workshop Description:Every staff member at UWA is responsible for ensuring that they are aware of, and comply with the University’s record keeping standards, policies and procedures. By attending this short information session you will gain an awareness of your responsibilities in relation to record keeping in your role as a UWA staff member. Intended Outcomes:By attending this presentation you will gain: - an understanding of legal and university record keeping requirements
- an understanding of your record keeping responsibilities as a member of staff
- awareness of the role of Archives & Records Management Services in assisting you to meet record keeping requirements
- awareness of further training available from ARMS

Justine McDermott, Archives and Records Management Services, UWA Cost:UWA staff members and UWA affiliates will receive priority in gaining access to this session. Participant enrolment in this workshop will be confirmed following the closing date for applications. Please note a cancellation fee may apply for non-attendees.
We also welcome enrolment by non-UWA participants, subject to availability. The commercial fee for non-UWA attendees is calculated at $100 per hour of attendance. Staff working in other universities will receive a 20% discount on the commercial fee. Number of Places:24
