  • Before coming, my concern had been that my writing for academic reports didn’t read like examples id seen of various colleagues. However, I now recognise that often this style is cluttered and ambiguous and I feel more confident to strive to write as discussed today not to strive to achieve their levels of “gobble – de – gook” writing!! Really excellent workshop.
  • Everything was very helpful and very informative.
  • I particularly liked the correcting exercises.
  • Thanks. It was a great workshop with useful practices.
  • It’s good to have pieces to try to rewrite and examples of how to rewrite. It’s also nice to have the facilitator to have a quick look at my work. Thanks.
  • Thought it was very helpful in all aspects of writing. Set clear “principles” for all styles.
  • Really enjoyed and learnt a lot – realise writing is a difficult and challenging process – have learnt to stop and think and go back to initial form/draft and revise
  • Information/material like this should be available to everyone in the university on the webpage.
