Peoplesoft: Electronic PO

Intended Audience:

This workshop is highly relevant to staff with purchasing and financial responsibilities - new and existing Purchasing Officers, Finance Officers and Administrative Officers with 25% financial responsibilities.

Workshop Description:

This workshop is designed to provide participants the knowledge and tool to create Purchase Orders and record receipt of goods/services on PeopleSoft. This enables efficiencies in the Purchasing process of the business unit.

Intended Outcomes:

After completing this workshop, participants should be able to:

• Create an electronic Purchase Order
• Changing details on an existing Purchase Order
• Track & Match Purchase Order against actual delivery
• Copy an existing PO and reuse similar information
• Search for existing PO
• Check for open/outstanding orders

Hands-on activities on PeopleSoft with real-scenario examples.

Cost:

UWA staff members and UWA affiliates will receive priority in gaining access to this session. Participant enrolment in this workshop will be confirmed following the closing date for applications. Please note a cancellation fee may apply for non-attendees. We also welcome enrolment by non-UWA participants, subject to availability. The commercial fee for non-UWA attendees is calculated at $100 per hour of attendance. Staff working in other universities will receive a 20% discount on the commercial fee.
