Intended Audience:

This workshop is highly relevant to staff with financial responsibilities - new and existing School Managers, Finance Officers and Administrative Officers with 25% financial responsibilities.

Workshop Description:

PeopleSoft: DIY Enquiries is designed to provide participants the efficient and simple ways to address day-to-day financial enquiries from colleagues or external parties – suppliers and customers.

Intended Outcomes:

After completing this workshop, participants should be able to:

• Explore different ways to produce answers to financial enquiries.
• Produce answers to the enquiries in minimal time.
• Has debtor paid invoice?
• Does debtor exists in the University's database?
• Has supplier been paid? Looking up the payment details
• Does supplier exists in the University's database?
• What's the total amount of stationery expenses spent so far?
• Drilling down transactions on screen.
• What is the balance of my PG?

Cost:

UWA staff members and UWA affiliates will receive priority in gaining access to this session. Participant enrolment in this workshop will be confirmed following the closing date for applications. Please note a cancellation fee may apply for non-attendees. We also welcome enrolment by non-UWA participants, subject to availability. The commercial fee for non-UWA attendees is calculated at $100 per hour of attendance. Staff working in other universities will receive a 20% discount on the commercial fee.
