Participants say ...
- I would benefit from attending the course as I need to use Excel more than I used to and have had no training at all.
- I hardly use Excel at all but am finding occasions where I could use it more. It's been so long since I did the introduction course I can only do the basics.
- Part of my role requires my using Excel, generating reports and tables/graphs from speadsheets. I would like to have a better grounding in the basics to understand what I am doing!
- ... a lot of my work is carried out in Excel and I feel that I don't really know enough about it and could do a lot more if I knew what I was doing.
- I have a basic knowledge of how to plug information into the spreadsheet, however i do need some training with regards to the mathematics and the sorting of the information, and some of the actual features of Excel
Intended Audience:University staff interested in improving or consolidating their understanding of the use of Microsoft Excel 2003 as a productivity tool for managing, analysing and interpreting data. Participants will practice developing, formatting and using a spreadsheet as well as be able to accomplish standard mathematical and logical operations using formulas and functions. Participants will gain experience in using some of the more advanced features of a spreadsheet application such as importing objects, and creating graphs and charts. Intended Outcomes:After completing this workshop, participants should be able to:
